Create a perfectly smooth surface without having to resort to wet sanding – a practice that should only be performed by those who have honed their skills in a body shop environment
While removing orange peel and deep defects you are also polishing the paint rather than leaving sanding marks which reduces the steps needed afterwards.
Equivalent to 3000 grit sandpaper without the dulling of paint and sanding haze
Please only use these pads if you are sure the orange peel is in the upper (clear coat) and not the color coat layer
Size: 5 1/4″ diameter. Thickness: 5/16″. Pore size: 80ppi. Foam hardness: 3kpa. Material: Velvet polishing surface with hook and loop backing.
Do not use without sufficient skill level.
Use NO PRESSURE and observe the paint temperature often.
DO NOT USE WITHOUT PAINT GAUGE UNLESS YOU HAVE TAKEN RESPONSIBILITY FOR MOVING FORWARD WITHOUT ONE.
